The junior governing Most-Hid party has proposed reducing levies for employees and the self-employed and increasing the non-taxable part of the tax calculation basis in order to help working people, with the measures supposed to take effect as of 2020. Most-Hid MPs propose that the non-taxable part of the tax calculation basis should be increased from the current 19.2 times the subsistence minimum to 21 times in 2020 and to 22.7 times in 2021 via an amendment to the income tax law.
