The junior coalition party Most-Hid has said it respects Smer-SD's decision to nominate Ladislav Kamenicky for the position of finance minister and considers him to be an expert, adding, however, that it would have expected to learn the name of the new minister from its coalition partner and not from the media. "Nominations fall under the jurisdiction of the given party, to which the specific post belongs," Most-Hid spokeswoman Klara Debnar said on Tuesday. "We respect the decision of the Smer-SD leadership and consider Mr. Kamenicky to be an expert," she said, adding that Most-Hid will discuss its proposals for the economic and social domain with the new minister as soon as he is appointed.
