Most Czechs do not want EU withdrawal referendum - poll

January 10th, 2020

Most Czechs reject a referendum on the country's withdrawal from the European Union and most often expect Brexit to have a negative impact on the EU, Czechia and the UK, according to the CVVM institute's poll sent to CTK on Friday. The number of people who reject a Czexit referendum was 54 percent, a decrease from the 55 percent in February 2019. Such a referendum would be welcomed by 30 percent of Czechs, with the rest stating they have no opinion.
