The number of tourists who stayed overnight in Poland during the first eleven months of 2018 increased by 1.8 million to 31.7 million, from 29.9 million a year earlier, according to Central Statistical Office (GUS) data released on Wednesday. The share of domestic tourists using accommodation facilities with up to 10 beds reached 25.1 million in the January-November period, while the number of foreign tourists stood at 6.6 million. A year earlier, their number totalled 23.5 million and 6.3 million, respectively. According to GUS, the largest number of foreign tourists who stayed overnight came to Poland from Germany (1.7 million), Britain (513,000) and Ukraine (456,000).
