More than 8.59 m passengers serviced at Chopin Airport since January

Since the beginning of the year, Warsaw's Chopin Airport has serviced more than 8.59 million passengers, a 7.4 percent increase compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, the airport announced in a statement on Wednesday. In June alone, the airport's passenger traffic totalled 1.78 million, which was an increase of 2.4 percent when compared with the same period last year. The statement added that close to 7.76 million passengers travelled international routes (an increase of approximately 8 percent) and almost 837,000 travelled domestic routes (an increase of more than 2 percent).
