Fully 46 percent of Poles believe that the situation in Poland is developing well while 36 percent are pessimistic about the future and think the situation is developing in an undesirable direction, a CBOS survey shows. The percentage of pessimists went down by 3 percentage points month on month and the percentage of optimists remained unchanged. Fifty-seven percent described Poland's economic situation as good (up by 2 percentage points), 9 percent as bad (down by 3 percentage points), and 29 percent as neither good nor bad (down by 1 percentage point). CBOS conducted the survey with a representative sample of 1,040 adult Poles on April 5-12.
