Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki vowed during ceremonies marking Polish Armed Forces Day in Katowice, southern Poland, that the Polish Army would be well armed, and that its modernisation process would be carried out as quickly as possible. Morawiecki thanked President Andrzej Duda, the head of the Armed Forces, for his care of the Polish Army. The prime minister attended a military parade in Katowice to commemorate the centenary of the 1st Silesian Uprising and Polish Armed Forces Day.
