Fidesz MEP Kinga Gal on Thursday slammed the "left wing" for returning the issue of so-called humanitarian migrant visas to the agenda of the European Parliament by citing "procedural errors" in the vote. The pro-migrant majority in the EP "won't give up" and wants to find a way to "push through" migrant visas, which they present as a humanitarian measure, Gal told MTI by phone. The Fidesz MEP said that after suffering a defeat, left-wing MEPs asked for the issue to be debated again because some of them had abandoned voting during the process after being led to believe that a result already had been secured.
