The Slovak Medical Chamber (SLK) has called on the government to hold a broad and professional discussion on the planned mass testing of the population for coronavirus, saying that if it did not do so, success was "almost unthinkable". "We'll only be able to handle it if we manage it well," SLK president Marian Kollar told a news conference on Monday, stressing that he would view the testing as successful only if at least 80 percent of the population takes part. He was critical of Matovic's remark that those who did not take part in the testing would only be provided with basic health care.
