Marian K., the businessman charged with ordering the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak, has not agreed to have his text communication with former Prosecutor-General's first deputy Peter Sufliarsky published, TV Markiza reported in its evening news show on Monday. Sufliarsky pledged to make his text message communication with Marian K. public. This way, Sufliarsky wished to prove his statement that he had not discussed anything of importance with the entrepreneur and the exchange of messages was only part of common courtesy and professionalism. Later, Sufliarsky claimed that he could not give consent to make the content of his communication public solely on his own, citing the Telecommunications Act, which requires the other party to do so as well. However, Marian K.'s lawyer Marek Para confirmed to TV Markiza that no such consent will be given.
