Lufthansa Technik to set up HUF 43 bn service centre in NE Hungary

German aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company Lufthansa Technik will set up a 43 billion forint (EUR 135m) service centre in Miskolc, in north-eastern Hungary, the minister of foreign affairs and trade announced on Thursday. Lufthansa Technik will repair aircraft parts at the base which will employ 400 people, Peter Szijjarto told a press conference in Budapest. The government is contributing to the investment with training support, he said.
