The Education, Science, Research and Sport Ministry has awarded 62 teachers and other school employees on the occasion of Teachers' Day, with Education Minister Martina Lubyova presenting large and small St. Gorazd's medals and letters of gratitude to them. "We praise deserving pedagogues in this way every year, thereby expressing our admiration and appreciation for their endeavours in instilling knowledge and values in students," Lubyova said. The medals are the highest-level awards granted by the ministry since 1999. They are presented by ministers on Teachers' Day to teachers, school employees and employees in other social fields who have carried out work of merit for schools and pupils.
