LMP blames govt policies for bee deaths

The opposition LMP party has raised concern about a recent, massive decline in Hungary's bee stock and blamed the government's "severe irresponsibility" in failing to ban neonicotinoids in agriculture. LMP board secretary Mate Kanasz-Nagy said that 10 percent of Hungary's bee farms were affected by the problem, and slammed the government for facilitating technologies "detrimental to the soil and the environment, impacting the natural conditions for bees".
