Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak is due to leave for Beijing on Tuesday to attend the second Belt and Road forum for international cooperation scheduled for April 25-27, the foreign ministry's press department said on Tuesday. Lajcak's attendance of the forum, taking place under the remit of Chinese President Xi Jinping, is aimed at "supporting Slovakia's ambitions to boost economic cooperation with the People's Republic of China, taking the use of impetuses provided by the Belt and Road initiative", the ministry said.
