Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak will deliver a speech as acting OSCE chairman at the UN Security Council session in New York on Thursday, the Foreign and European Ministry's press department told TASR. In his speech Lajcak will focus on the priorities of the Slovak OSCE presidency, such as preventing conflicts and mitigating their consequences for civilians, effective multilateralism and a secure future. He will also touch on the issue of frozen and persisting conflicts in the OSCE region as well as issues relating to post-conflict reconstruction, which is one of the main priorities of the organisation.
