Lajcak meets US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo in USA

Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak (a Smer-SD nominee) met US Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo in Washington DC on Wednesday (November 14), TASR has been told by the ministry's press department. The two discussed a wide range of foreign-policy and security themes that resonate today not only in Europe but also in the American political environment. At the same time, they agreed that the level and dynamics of bilateral cooperation is bringing tangible results in the form of several joint projects and activities.
