Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister and current chair of the OSCE Miroslav Lajcak held talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin during a Foreign Affairs Session (FAC) meeting in Brussels on Sunday, the foreign ministry has told TASR. The two ministers assessed the situation in Ukraine and the surrounding region, focusing on the upcoming presidential election in March. Lajcak repeated that Kiev's decision to exclude Russia from observing the election was not in accordance with the principles and commitments of OSCE-member countries. He appealed to Klimkin to reconsider this decision.
