Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak said on Thursday at a meeting of NATO foreign affairs ministers in Washington, DC that Slovakia's security did not start at its borders, and that it was necessary for Slovakia to help other countries increase their own security. The minister held talks on current security topics such as the threat of terrorism, the situation in Afghanistan and the Black Sea region, disarmament, transatlantic relations and sharing costs of the alliance. The ministers also addressed the topic of cyberterrorism.
