Not even the fourth Slovak candidate for the post of General Court of the EU judge, Michal Kucera, met with any success in Luxembourg, Justice Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Drobova confirmed to TASR on Monday. Slovakia was originally slated to fill the judge post as far back as in September 2016. Kucera was elected in a secret vote by the Judicial Council in November 2018, garnering 10 votes from the 15 present members. The fourth Slovak candidate, Kucera was preceded by Maria Patakyova, Radoslav Prochazka and Ivan Ruman - all of whom were turned down by the Council of the EU's advisory committee.
