Krakow airport welcomes 5 millionth passenger this year

Krakow-Balice, Poland second largest airport, served its 5 millionth passenger on Thursday and as the first Polish regional airport joined a group of medium size European airports. Airport CEO Radoslaw Wloszek attributed the result to the wide offer of a dozen or so air carriers as well as the growing number of tourists visiting Poland's historical city and the economic development of Krakow and its region.
