The opinion of the consilium of experts in epidemiology and infectology, who do not recommend organising across-the-board testing for coronavirus, needs to be taken into consideration, Health Minister Marek Krajci said before the cabinet meeting on Wednesday. "I obtained this position in the night and we must discuss it," the minister said. The consilium in its position praises results of across-the-board testing in terms of halting the spread of coronavirus infection. However, it points to the fact that the next round of testing in the form as proposed by Prime Minister Igor Matovic would needlessly exhaust the capacities of already tired medical staff and, therefore, there's need to find another way, such as using mobile testing points.
