It was a self-confident Slovakia that won the regional elections on Saturday, with extremism and neo-fascism having been defeated "with the most devastating weapon of all -- free and fair democratic elections", President Andrej Kiska said during his visit to Namestovo (Zilina region) on Monday. He said that voters in the majority of regions voted for change, and it turned out that as long as quality candidates join the race, nothing could be predetermined.
