May 17th, 2018
The problem for both central Europe and the countries outside the region is unscrupulous policy leading to an aggressive implementation of selfish interests and violation of international law prevailing over the values of freedom and democracy, said President Andrej Kiska in his speech at the 13th GLOBSEC 2018 international security forum, which is taking place in Bratislava between May 17-19. According to the Slovak president, in order for countries to avoid the danger of this unscrupulous policy, the basic principles of democracy - independent media, active civil society and strong institutions - must work correctly.
