IT minister: Hungary aspires to leading role in drone development

Hungary aspires to a leading role in drone technology, Laszlo Palkovics, the minister of innovation and technology, said at a conference on Friday. The potential applications and economic impact of unmanned aerial vehicles on a global scale is significant, Palkovics said at a conference organised by Hungarian air traffic controller HungaroControl. He said the market opportunities associated with drone technology in Europe each year were worth over ten billion euros.
