Interior Ministry: 31 parties submitted slates for EP elections

A total of 31 political parties, movements and coalitions submitted their slates for the upcoming elections to the European Parliament within the set deadline, the Interior Ministry's Press Department said on Monday. The deadline for submitting slates to the Interior Ministry expired on Sunday (February 24). The EP elections in Slovakia will take place on Saturday, May 25. Slovaks will elect 14 MEPs for a five-year term. Slovak citizens along with citizens of other EU-member state with long-term residence in Slovakia are eligible to vote in the EP elections in the country.
