Incumbent President Andrzej Duda received 43.7 percent voter support ahead of the spring presidential elections, planned to be held on May 10, according to a survey by the IBRIS pollster for the Rzeczpospolita daily. The poll shows that Duda's main rival, Civic Coalition (KO) candidate Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska, would receive the support of 29.2 percent of the public. Third place was taken by Szymon Holownia, an independent candidate, who received backing from 8.1 percent of voters. The Spring leader, Robert Biedron, a joint candidate for the Left (Lewica) grouping, obtained 6.9 percent support.
