IMF lowers Slovakia's 2018 GDP growth forecast to 3.9 pc

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has slightly lowered its forecast regarding the pace of Slovakia's economic growth in 2018. In its current World Economic Outlook report, the IMF predicts that Slovakia's GDP will grow by 3.9 percent in 2018 and 4.1 percent in 2019, following expansion of 3.4 percent in 2017. In its outlook report for last year, the IMF envisaged Slovakia's GDP growth to accelerate to 4 percent in 2018 and to 4.2 percent in 2019.
