Hungary dept PM visits Bethlehem

Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjen on Thursday saw the reconstruction works of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, the Prime Minister's Office said on Friday. Semjen was on an official visit to Israel, in a delegation led by Prime Minister Viktor Orban. He met in Bethlehem Ziad al-Bandak, councillor for Christian affairs to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who briefed him on the state of the reconstruction work and thanked Hungary for its repeated financial support in 2011 and 2018.
