Hungary cross-party consensus on army aircraft purchase, says Hende

All four parliamentary parties have agreed on details of a planned purchase of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft for the Hungarian military, Defence Minister Csaba Hende told a press conference after four-party talks. According to the four-party agreement, the Defence Ministry will work out a procurement tender before the autumn, and bids will be invited to be received and evaluated before next year's parliamentary elections so that the incumbent government can make a decision concerning the purchase, the minister said.
