Hungarian airline Malev stops operation

Hungarian airline Malev stopped all its services at 6am on Friday, and several airlines have responded by offering special deals and increased capacities. The company board decided to interrupt operations of the arline carrier in order to minimise damage, a statement said. Under the decision, all services were stopped and after 66 years of continuous operation, Malev will not fly from 6am on February 3, the statement added.
