The Czech Republic is prepared to clarify on the extension of its nuclear power plants near the Austrian border but requires respect for its decisions, Industry and Trade Minister Karel Havlicek said today in reaction to criticism from the Oberoesterreich province. The province had turned to the European Commission asking for a review of whether the Czech plans are in compliance with the EU law in the sphere of economic competition, the APA news agency reported on Tuesday.
