President Milos Zeman was trusted by a half of Czechs at the beginning of March, and the government was trusted by 45 percent, according to a CVVM public opinion poll conducted still before the cabinet declared national state of emergency over the new coronavirus outbreak. As usual, town mayors and assemblies emerged from the poll as the most-trusted institutions of all, while the Chamber of Deputies was the least trusted one.
