The Hungarian government is "not against" the European Union's setting climate protection goals for 2050, Gergely Gulyas, the head of the Prime Minister's Office, told his weekly press conference on Thursday. Gulyas added, however, that such plans require impact analyses, action plans and budget calculations at an EU level. In terms of the bloc's climate protection goals for 2030, Gulyas said that Hungary was "one of the best performing" EU members.
