Education Minister Branislav Groehling (Freedom and Solidarity/SaS) stated on Monday during the session of the central crisis management team that a total of 100 schools in Slovakia have registered at least one coronavirus case since the beginning of the current school year, which resulted in shutting down 417 classes. "A total of 7,490 pupils and 905 teachers are in isolation. Of the total number of pupils, less than one percent have been affected by COVID-19," calculated the minister, adding that when it comes to all schools, less than 2 percent have been affected.
