The government has published its decision to launch a scheme to promote digital literacy for retired people over the age of 65 which will include free training and mentoring. The government decision shows that the development minister will be in charge of implementing the scheme by December 31, 2018, with the cooperation of the non-profit public organisations Helping Hands for Active Years and Neumann Janos. A total of 208 million forints (EUR 668,000) will be allocated for the scheme from the central budget this year and an additional 993 million forints next year.
