Next year's budget will serve Hungarian families and the country's security, a defence ministry state secretary told a press conference on Wednesday. Szilard Nemeth said the budget will allocate the Hungarian Armed Forces 616 billion forints (EUR 1.9bn), 103 billion more than last year. Those funds will go toward ensuring the country's peace and independence and the security of the Hungarian people, he said. That budget will cover the costs of technological development, recruitment and training, Nemeth said.
