An informal decision has been taken to go ahead with plans for a nuclear power plant in Poland though there is no formal decision yet, Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchórzewski told PAP on Friday. Speaking on the sidelines of the 590 Congress conference in the southeastern Polish town of Jasionka, near Rzeszów, Minister Tchórzewski told journalists that by the end of the year an amendment would be submitted to the Council of Ministers concerning the country's nuclear energy programme.
