Jacek Sasin, head of Poland's Council of Ministers Standing Committee, said on Thursday that a 'white paper' drafted by the Polish government is to set straight false opinions about judicial reforms being carried out in Poland. In an radio interiview, Sasin referred to the Polish government's plan for Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to present a so-called "white paper" to EU member states during his planned visit to Davos, Switzerland. The document will include Poland's position on the EC rule-of-law procedure launched against the country, and present arguments regarding the country's reform of the judiciary. The white paper is to "set straight the opinion, which prevails in Europe, about the reforms being carried out by the Law and Justice government." "Our political opponents have proved quite effective at forming a false image of Poland on the international arena - they are eagerly listened to by their political allies in other European countries and institutions," Sasin said.
