July 17th, 2019

The National Gallery Prague (NPG) starts a retrospective exhibition of Swiss artist Albert Giacometti (1901-1966) in the Veletrzni (Trade Fair) Palace this evening. It is held in cooperation with the Giacometti Foundation from which the NPG has borrowed the exhibited artefacts. Giacometti's creation, which has also influenced some Czech sculptors, is introduced at such a large scale in the Czech Republic for the first time. The exhibition will last until December 1.
