Gal pushes for new regulation of constitutional judge election

Justice Minister Gabor Gal said on Wednesday that he wanted new regulations on the election of top court judges to be signed into law before the election of nine of thirteen judges in February 2019. Gal would raise the age limit from 40 to 45 years and make the voting on judges one of simple majority.
