Gajdos in Sarajevo meets Bosnia and Herzegovina defence minister

December 6th, 2018

The Slovak Armed Forces are ready to continue supporting the EUFOR ALTHEA operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina as long as it is needed, stated Slovak Defence Minister Peter Gajdos (SNS) in Sarajevo on Thursday after meeting his Bosnia and Herzegovina counterpart Marina Pendes. Gajdos added that the fact that Slovak solders are participating in the operation shows the country's support for stabilising the Western Balkans. The Slovak defence minister went on to say that within the mission's reorganisation, Slovakia will increase the number of professional soldiers by two.
