The southern Polish city of Katowice has become the fourth city in Poland to join ICORN, an independent organisation of cities and regions which offers shelter to writers, journalists and artists at risk of persecution in their own country. Katowice joins Krakow, in southern Poland, Wroclaw, in south-western Poland, and Gdansk, in northern Poland, as a member of ICORN.
