Foreign volunteers cleaning Jewish cemetery in Holesov

Volunteers from abroad today started cleaning the Jewish cemetery in Holesov, where one of the biggest Jewish communities in Moravia had existed, organiser Dana Podhajska has told journalists. The volunteers will also help organise the festival of Jewish culture which starts in the town on Tuesday. The volunteers have been cleaning the cemetery for the 13th year. They are from Mexico, the USA, France, Italy and Poland.
CTK
