The flu epidemic has increased intervals in public transport in Bratislava, Hospodarske Noviny daily reported on Tuesday. The Bratislava City Transport Company (DPB) announced on Monday that five bus lines will operate in longer intervals until next Friday due to a lack of drivers. According to DPB spokesperson Adriana Wolfova, 173 from the total of 1,480 company drivers are currently on a sick leave. DPB has assured passengers to compensate for their reduced comfort by bigger buses.
