The first day of the European Union (EU) extraordinary summit did not bring the agreement on the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 closer, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis told reporters in small hours today. The reasons are primarily the stances of four EU countries, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and Austria, that reject the budget revenues proposed by European Council President Charles Michel, amounting to 1.074 percent of the Gross National Income (GNI), and demand maximally 1 percent of GNI, Babis said.
