According to data published by the Statistics Office, approximately 4.45 million people are eligible to vote in the first round of the upcoming presidential election, of which 2.31 million are women and 2.14 million are men. There will be around 17,500 first-time voters and 280,000 people who have already been eligible to vote but are able to take part in their first presidential election. The first round of the presidential election will be held on March 16, with a possible second round, if the head of state isn't elected in the first one, slated to take place on March 30.
