Fico again rejects hospital reform in current form

The hospital stratification health-care reform is "unacceptable in its current form", Smer-SD leader Robert Fico told a news conference on Thursday, adding that he insists on a consensus across the entire political spectrum. Fico said that he was willing to meet Health Minister Andrea Kalavska again and that he was happy with the government's approach. It has not yet approved hospital stratification; it has only passed partial measures, such as long-term care for patients.
