EU to reimburse Slovakia for Presov bypass construction

The European Commission (EC) has approved a large project concerning the construction of the Presov west-Presov south D1-motorway stretch, the transport ministry told TASR on Friday. Slovakia can draw a grant amounting to over 278 million euros from the Operational Programme Integrated Infrastructure (OPII) for building the motorway stretch. This is the tenth large construction project for which Slovakia has been given the green light from Brussels in terms of finances.
