Duda: Transport in Podhale region part of bigger strategy

Transport in Poland's southern Podhale region is a cross-border issue that makes up an element of the great Three Seas Initiative that aims to solve transport problems in central and eastern Europe, President Andrzej Duda said in the southern town of Zakopane on Thursday. In a speech delivered at the opening of the 11th International Mountain Forum in the Polish mountain resort, the president stressed that he himself comes from the area. Duda said that poor transport in Podhale bothered local residents and discouraged potential tourists, particularly those who would like to visit there for a couple of days only.
