Incumbent President Andrzej Duda's election staff head and former prime minister Beata Szydlo, along with Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk, symbolically inaugurated the president's re-election campaign in the southern Polish city of Krakow on Monday. Earlier on Saturday, Duda launched his re-election campaign at a convention in Warsaw. Szydlo said that the coming months would be very intense for both the president and his election staff, adding that "the common goal is to lead Duda to victory in the first round of the elections."
